We work with veterinarian Dr. Karen Becker to formulate whole food recipes that are high in protein & low in carbs with limited ingredients. Every ingredient has a purpose as we don’t use any high carb fillers like potato, rice, oats, yam, squash, pasta, or barley. Our air dried recipes are formulated to meet AAFCO’s requirements for a complete & balanced diet through using ONLY whole foods without any synthetic vitamins and minerals.
Veterinarians are recommending our recipes as a source of nutrition beneficial to healthy dogs & cats as well as pets with a variety of health issues. We were recognized by the Innovative Veterinary Care Journal for the impact our recipes are making in the lives of dogs & cats by being awarded the 2019 Innovation Award for Nutrition.

We can proudly make the human-grade pet food claim as every ingredient in our food has passed the same standards necessary for human consumption and all our food is gently cooked in a human-grade facility. Low temp cooking meets the USDA pathogen kill-step, while maintaining high levels of moisture and nutritional integrity.
Lab Safety Tested
Every single batch we cook gets lab safety tested for pathogens to help ensure it’s safe for your pet to eat. We also implement rapid swab testing for pathogens during each production run and have a hold release program where we don’t ever ship our food unless it passes the lab safety test. Limited Ingredients
We work with veterinarian Dr. Karen Becker and pet food formulation expert Steve Brown to formulate limited ingredient recipes that meet AAFCO’s requirements for a complete & balanced diet. Our air dried recipes contain a single source of animal protein and have very simple ingredient decks as each recipe has just 10 ingredients or less.
We're Raising The Bar
We’re the first company to voluntarily submit a recipe to be tested by Check Your Pet Food to prove that the nutritional analysis meets AAFCO’s requirements for a complete & balanced diet. For transparency, we openly share the Full AAFCO Nutrient Profile of each recipe in the product information section on our recipe selection pages. One of the most unique things about our air dried dog food is that these recipes are formulated to be complete & balanced through using ONLY whole foods without any synthetic vitamins and minerals.
Environmental Sustainability
We’re removing as much plastic waste from nature as we use by partnering with rePurpose Global. For every package we sell, we’re removing the equivalent amount of plastic from the ecosystem. We’re also offsetting the carbon emissions coming from our home delivery service shipments through reforestation and forest preservation.
